Trelleborg to supply Combat Support Ship silencers

Trelleborg Antivibrations Solutions and Damen Naval have signed a contract for the new Combat Support Ship (CSS) Damen Naval is building for the Royal Netherlands Navy. The agreement involves the supply by Trelleborg of the vibration mounts for the ship’s main electric engines. The rubber compound for the equi-frequency mounts has been specially designed for the application on hand.

Trelleborg Antivibrations Solutions Netherlands BV has been pioneering in the field of applied polymer technology for over a century already. The subsidiary in Dordrecht, the Netherlands, focuses on shock absorption and the elimination of undesired sounds and vibrations.
